Real Experience. Real Growth.
Internships have been the foundation of my journey into the sports industry. Every role, from social media to operations to sales, has taught me something new about what it takes to thrive in this fast-paced field. This page breaks down my internship experiences, what I learned, and how they’ve helped me build the skills that will shape my career in sports.
Leading the Digital Charge – Miami Athletics
As the Head Social Media Intern for Miami University Athletics, I led a team of student content creators and worked directly with our sports information directors to develop engaging digital content. I ran real-time coverage for games, planned weekly content calendars, and helped build our brand voice on platforms like Instagram and Twitter. This role pushed me to be creative under pressure, analyze what worked, and always think from the fan’s perspective. It also taught me how to lead a team and balance content that’s both strategic and fun.

On the Field and Behind the Scenes
In addition to social, I took on a marketing and operations internship with Miami Athletics, where I was involved in planning and executing in-game promotions. I helped manage giveaways, worked with sponsors, and coordinated timing elements during events. Whether it was setting up signage or queuing music for timeouts, I saw firsthand how much attention to detail goes into every fan-facing moment. This hands-on role gave me a new appreciation for the behind-the-scenes grind, and showed me how marketing and game ops connect the business side with the fan experience.
Bringing Baseball to the Fans – Cincinnati Reds Internship
This summer, I’m joining the Cincinnati Reds as a Gameday Sales Intern, where I’ll be responsible for managing ticket activations, selling packages, and enhancing the fan experience at Great American Ball Park. I’ll be helping with postgame concerts, on-field ceremonies, VIP events, and more—all while developing key skills in customer service, communication, and sales strategy. This role gives me the chance to network within the Cincinnati market, build real relationships in the MLB space, and learn from professionals who are doing what I dream of doing full-time. Every home game is a new opportunity to grow.
